Over a span of 30 years, the author, a speech/language pathologist, observed a marked increase in the number of children diagnosed with autism, ADD, ADHD, learning and speech disabilities, etc. She hypothesizes that this drastic change is related to the childhood vaccination schedule. Indoctrination versus education is the main theme of this book, as it challenges that which we have always believed about vaccinations and our children.

Chemie in der AHS leidet unter dem Mangel an motivierten Schülern. Lehrer treffen auf pubertierende Schüler, die bereits Fächerdenken mitbringen und zwischen den einzelnen Naturwissenschaften kaum Verbindungen herstellen. Viele Schüler sind in den naturwissenschaftlichen Fächern unsicher und deshalb schwer motivierbar. Kinder im Volksschulalter andererseits sind an den Phänomenen der Natur interessiert.Um den Mangel an Selbstsicherheit zu beseitigen, und dem Interesse von begabten Volksschüler entgegenzukommen, wurde dieses Projekt gestartet. Schüler erarbeiteten in altersheterogenen, aber geschlechts- und leistungshomogenen Kleingruppen in offener Arbeitsform die Themen “Kaffee, Kakao und Coca-Cola”. Die älteren Schüler profitieren, durch den Zuwachs an Wissen und durch ihre Rolle als Spezialisten. Sie erwerben Selbstsicherheit in den Naturwissenschaften, da sie die Führungsrolle einnehmen. Die Volksschüler erleben ältere Schüler als kompetent, was sowohl für die Mädchen positiv ist, da sie weibliche Vorbilder in technisch naturwissenschaftlichen Fächern erleben, als auch für die Buben, die männliche Bezugspersonen erleben.
